My Advice

When applying for jobs always ensure you are applying for the right roles and those that match your skills and experience. If you see a role advertised ensure you read the spec in full and only apply if you have at least 70% of the requirements. Being selective with your job search will ensure you avoid disappointment in not hearing back from companies because you may not be suitable. If you are applying for a role through an agency discuss the role with the specialist consultant as they will guide you through the must have’s of the role and the companies requirements. Be selective with your search and keep track of your CV’s at all times and where it has been sent, this will ensure that your CV is not going to the same company on multiple occasions and also will make the follow up process a lot more efficient.

My Background

Elaine has over 9 years recruitment experience and has been working with Morgan McKinley for over 8 years .She holds a BSc in Computer Science and has recruited in IT for a number of years. Elaine has been responsible for the growth and development of a number of our key desks nationwide. Her previous role was National Project Manager for three of our core verticals Engineering, Supply Chain and Science and her current role is Operations Director for IT nationally.
