We collect user information at a variety of locations on our websites across the Group and will not sell, share or rent this information in ways that differ from those disclosed in this policy. The servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Cookies
A cookie is a data file which enhances functionality that is sent from a web server to a web browser when a user visits the server’s site. Cookies do not hold any personally identifiable data and as such are used with your consent on all Group websites. Users may turn off cookies locally if they wish, but this may impair their access to some areas of our Group websites.
Registration details
In order to access and use certain areas of our Group websites, such as job alerts, users will need to provide contact details including a name and email address. This information may be used by Imprint to contact the user about the services available on our websites.
CVs
On certain Group websites you have the option of submitting your CV online. You can do this either in response to a particular advertised vacancy or for general consideration by our consultants for vacancies that may arise in the future. This CV will be stored on our secure in-house computer network and will also be emailed directly to our staff, who may enter it onto one or more of our recruitment databases. These databases, including your personal details, may be accessed by Imprint staff working in all Group offices, both inside and outside the European Economic Area.
Database policy
The information from your CV that is added to our databases is termed “personal data” under the Data Protection Act 1998. This personal data will only be accessible to employees of Imprint, who are kept up-to-date with our security and privacy policies. For the purposes of the aforementioned Act, all members of the Imprint Group of companies are data controllers.
Should you wish to correct, update or remove your personal data, Imprint will endeavour to make these changes as soon as possible after notification.
It is possible that Imprint could merge or be acquired by another business. If this happens, we may share the information that relates to you with the new owners of the business and their advisers. You will be sent notice of such an event. Other than in these circumstances, we do not and will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent.
Sharing
Imprint collates demographic information and statistics about visitors to its Group websites using, among other means, IP addresses and will only share this data with relevant partners and advertisers in aggregated form with a view to improving our online services. No data, including IP addresses, is linked to personal information that may be used to identify any individual.

Contact information would be used to notify competition winners and award prizes. Survey information would be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and efficiency of this site.
