The division, split into specialist teams, works with a select number of financial services and commerce & industry organisations in close partnerships in order to provide bespoke solutions to their recruitment requirements.

The majority of permanent assignments undertaken by the division range from JPY 4m up to JPY 20m in Operations and up to JPY 25m in other areas, depending on experience.

The Tokyo division benefits from a dedicated bilingual research function which utilises a broad range of methods to map the local market and generate the best candidate shortlists for our clients. As the division works exclusively with a select number of leading investment banks and financial institutions in Tokyo, it is able to access an extensive high-quality candidate pool which includes the stars of the market.

Candidates are interviewed thoroughly by at least one consultant who is experienced in a variety of interviewing techniques. This enables us to fully understand our candidates’ experience, motivations, ambition and personality to make the right match for them with our clients. All candidates are briefed fully prior to their details being forwarded to a client.
